Passion Unbound
Romantic melodies flow in a concert filled with fire and passion. Tchaikovsky International Competition winner Itamar Zorman brings his intimate, intense and fiery playing to American composer Jonathan Leshnoff’s Violin Concerto, in music that is “…thoroughly beautiful, extraordinarily moving.” Emotions are heightened again with “the poet of Spanish emotion” Manuel de Falla’s flamenco ballet music distilled from Gypsy songs and Andalusian rhythms, including the Ritual Fire Dance.
